A most unusual cabinetmaker's mahogany lined pine chest measuring 40" x 28" x 23"h fitted with 6 mahogany faced lidded trays and a bank of 8 drawers with flush brass pulls sliding over wells for moulding planes and larger tools. The unique lockable double lid has an internal lid fitted for saws on both sides, the external lid lined with samples of selected hardwoods, also included 3 later trays which fit between the orig banks, all in very nice condition with keys G++
